My background is in international development, I have worked on poverty alleviation, micro finance and youth projects in Zimbabwe and in Bangladesh. Both countries I love and visit frequently.

I am the founder and CEO of the social enterprise MyBnk. At MyBnk we have created first ever FSA approved youth led banking scheme run by young people for young people called MyBnk-in-a-Box that provides an accessible place to save regularly and interest free loans to set up enterprises. MyBnk also promotes the idea of social enterprise that success is not just about making money, but being a force for positive change in the world.

I was Young Social Entrepreneur of the Year in 2008. I love speaking about social change, women in leadership and generally sharing my experiences. I frequently speak at conferences, academic institutions and what I enjoy most is when I get to speak in schools and youth groups. My great escape is salsa dancing!
